Renegade Video Problems with new system

I just upgraded my system and when I try to play Command & Conquer Renegade
my in game video is choppy video. I did not have this problem with my old
system the game ran smooth. I have the same resolution setting as before and
even tried knocking them down a bit and still I get choppy video. Has anyone
have trouble with this game and if so do you have a fix.
