I'm using Windows XP and a fully functioning network with the default name
MSHOME. I want to change the name to something unique. Whats the easiest way
to do this on 5 computers with a minimum of service disruption or running the
wizard on each computer.

On each computer:

1. Right-click My Computer.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click Computer Name.
4. Click Change.
5. Enter the new name.
6. Click OK to exit.
7. Reboot.

I wasn't sure if you recieved the answer that you wanted. If you want to
change the network name you can do this on each computer.

When you go through the wizard on each computer change the Network Name when
it says MSHOME in the textbox. Make sure it is the same for all of the
computers or they will not connect to each other. Restart and you should be
good.
