Renaming A DVD Drive?

Is there any way I can change the drive name that is shown for my DVD
drive?

I have two drives, and they both show as DVD RW Drive. I'd just like
to change it to something like "DVD LSRW" so I can tell at a glance
which one is my Lightscribe drive. I know how to change the drive
letter, but I want to change the description. Rename drive is not an
option in the Context Menu for DVD Drives.

Thanks!

That script doesn't work in Vista. Some of Kelly's fixes do but this one is
unfortunate.
Go to registry.. by accessing Start/Run/ type in regedit and hit Enter.
1. Create
\HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\DriveIcons [type:
key]
2. Create \explorer\DriveIcons\LETTER [type: key] (e.g. F)
3. Create \DriveIcons\LETTER\DefaultIcon [type: key]
4. Create \DriveIcons\LETTER\DefaultLabel [type: key]
5. Change the value of \DriveIcons\LETTER\DefaultLabel\(Default) to the name
you want.
6. Close & Reboot.

What happens when I enter this into the register? I enter it EXACTLY
as you typed it here? Then I will be able to rename the drives in
Explorer? Sorry if this is pretty obvious, but I just want to make
sure before fiddling with the registry.

Thank you very much for the help!

I should add, that I would be interested in any tips to do a better job than
the one I've suggested. You can always remove those registry entries
afterwards.
