rename numerous folder

Is there a way to rename numerous folder as a bunch

Windows XP has inbuilt feature to rename multiple files and folders. E.g.

If you have files like:

Chris098
Chris077
Chris045

and you want to rename all of them once as Christina (1), Christina (2) and
so on.
Then select all of them. Right-click on a file and type a name like
Christina and press Enter and windows xp will rename the rest. Same apply to
folders. First try it on a fewer files or folders.

in Explorer it is very limited but BRU (Bulk Rename Utility ) is great and
do those jobs fine
