My external hard drive has always been "H", but for some
reason was renamed to "G" and now all the programs on
that drive are looking for "H". How do I relabel it "H"?

thanks

Right click My Computer and select Manage. This launches the Computer
Management Console. Go to Storage section and click Disk Management. In the
right hand pane you will see your drives. Right click the drive and select
Change drive letters and paths. This should not require a reboot.

Control Panel - Admin Tools - Computer Management, select Disk
Management and look lower right for the icon or graphic of the drive.
R-click in it and 'change drive letter'
