Boot with XP CD.
Once booted, follow the installation procedures as if you were installing
Windows XP until you get to the part about "Choose partition to install
onto" and then DELETE all partitions.

Now boot with your Windows ME Boot and Partitioning disk(s) and install.

Why would you even want to go back to the Mistake Edition of Windows?

I have the same problems. The reason to remove XP is to
install ME so I can use some SW that don't support XP.

Please kindly help, since I cannot install ME within XP.
