removing windows live email connector without disabling outlook

I'd like to remove windows live email connector without disabling outlook
2003. De-installing the connector disabled my office 2003 (unable to access
outlook). Reinstalling the connector restored outlook (I was able to open
successfully). Installing the connector created a new calendar for Windows
Live in outlook parallel to the outlook calendar created by my phone's
software (T-Mobile Dash) and the calendars do not merge! I only use
Hotmail/Windows Live for the email.

what did the error message say? Did you try a new profile? (Control panel,
mail)
