Removing Windows components

I'm trying to uninstall games from my new WIn XP computer. In a previous post
I received advice from Kelly as follows:

Go to Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove/.../Windows Components.
Under Components, double click: Accessories and Utilities and uncheck Games.

But the dialog box is worrying me. It's confusing and counter-intuitive. It
says "To add or remove a component, click the check box." The boxes are
already checked for the installed games. So since they're already installed,
should I uncheck the ones I want to keep and check the ones I want to remove,
or vice-versa? Why doesn't it simply say "check the boxes for the games you
want to remove"? I don't know whether I'm indicating games I want to keep or
games I want to remove.

Uncheck the ones you don't want.
