Removing Vista Completely?

I had installed two vista.. The one in C: the other in D: Then I ve
formatted the drive d: but when i restarted my pc there still was an option
menu of choosing the two vistas in dos.. So how can I get rid of this option
menu in dos??

Did Microsoft fail to provide a way to do this within the OS? Why the need

No, it's there through BCDedit as a command line tool. The others offer a
GUI. All accomplish the same things.
