Hi,

I have 3 computers running Windows XP. As far as I know, I
did the same thing to install Windows XP on each one.
However, on one on them when I start windows there is a
windows login screen that comes up with a place to type a
password in. All I have to do is hit enter and it goes on
with its startup. The other 2 computers do not have this
login screen when they start.

Does anyone know what I have to do to remove this login
screen? And more importantly, what I did to get this
screen in the first place?

Thanks,

Lynn

Bitstring <[email protected]>, from the wonderful

control panel, user accounts, change the way users logon.
Thanks,

All I had to do was go into the way users log on and
activate the welcome screen. Now all the computers start
up the same way.

Thanks again,

Lynn
