Removing the Update Icon from the Sys Tray ?

I have the MS Update icon showing on the Sys Tray . This is indicating
that SP2 is ready for d/l .

As I do not wish to install this SP2 , how do I remove this icon from
the Sys Tray , please ?

you can do a few things.
1)got to windows update and check the "hide this update"box on sp 2.
2)swithch off auto update.
