Removing the > symbol from newsgroup text.

I sometimes copy and paste text from my Forte Agent newsreader into
Word 2000. The text may often have the > symbol in it to indicate
quotation. Please, how do I erase this symbol without having to go to
each occurrence and deleting it manually?

Alasdair,

Edit>Replace. Type > in the find what field and put your cursor in the
replace with field but don't add anything. Click replace all.
