We are running a laptopand a desktop. The desktop uses W XP Media
Edition and the laptop uses W XP Home Edition.
We do file sharing between the 2 computers. We do this by right
clicking on a folder to be shared then selecting Sharing & Security,
then in Network Sharing & Security we click on Share This Folder On The
Network. We are then able to access this folder and its files on the
other computer.
At some later time we then return to the file where the shared folder
resides and turn off file sharing for that folder.
My question has to do with the folder remaining on the My Network
Places screen. Why isn't it removed when the File Sharing option is
turned off for the folder?
