Removing "Shared Documents" and "xxx's Documents" folders possible ?

Is it possible to remove the two initial default folders

Shared documents

and

xxx's documents

(at least from from WinExplorer appearance) ?

If yes: is a reset of some properties in the Registry necessary to
let WinXP work properly?

No, they are considered system folders and cannot be removed.
