Removing Program folder under Start Menu

Hi all,

Windows XP Pro (also for other windows version..)
Using the Classic view of the start menu

I would like to remove the Program folder from the
StartMenu
Actually, I'm able to empty it, so the folders appears,
and shows empty as a sub-menu.
Found nothing in the policies of the GPO
I can hide the run, help, find, etc...
but this menus always shows
I also want to keep the startmenu, because I use it for
the favorites, documents, etc..

Can't help you for the Classic Menu. However, if you decide to use the
other:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoStartMenuMorePrograms"=dword:00000001
