removing powerpoint viewer

how do i remove powerpoint viewer for windows 95 version 7.0 from my windows
xp machine?

the pp viewer does not appear in control panel's install/remove programs,
and i cannot find instructions for maually uninstalling it in
support.microsoft.com.

You might have to reinstall it in order to get the uninstaller installed so you
can uninstall it.

Does that sound twisted or what? ;-)

On the other hand, if it's just sitting there but not getting in the way, it
might be best just to ignore it. Or rename the folder and if nothing goes sour
after a few days/weeks/months ... delete it
 
precisely: i finished the "dance of the installer", but it the ppt viewer
still didn't appear under "add/remove programs".

the ppt viewer is not causing any problems, i'm just super-diligent about
removing unneeded programs, keeping my registry and hard disk lean & mean.

i see and accept you're point there, however: don't fix it if it ain't broke.
