Removing Outlook Express, Media Player & Moviemaker

I will have to deploy WinXP soon and Outlook Express,
Media Player and Moviemaker are unrequired components.
Does anyone know how to uninstall them?

They are part of the core technology of Windows XP and cannot be
uninstalled. You can remove the shortcuts, but beyond that you will need to
set policies.

I would imagine that it's just easier not to use those
programs than try to uninstall them. Simply put, Microsoft
doesn't want you to uninstall them. That's why they got
hit with the lawsuit in the first place, they want you to
use only their stuff. SP1 (Service Pack 1) may allow you
to uninstall Media Player, but I'm not sure as I haven't
installed it yet due to various bugs associated with the
installation.

Start/ControlPanel/Add or Remove Programs. Have fun!

Have you tried to do what you advised the OP? None of the above
programs can removed that way.
