Removing Outlook 2002 delegates

I am trying to remove a user who I had given the ability
to send email on my behalf in Outlook 2002 (user was added
to the list of delegates). It allows me to highlight the
user, click Remove and the user appears to be gone. I
then click apply and close the Options window. However,
when I go back into the options, the user is back. Anyone
have ideas?
