Removing .OST from XP?

I am trying to delete the .ost file from a computer so none of my downloaded
email from exchange can be accessed.

I am using Win XP and Outlook 2003 and I have tried searching hidden files
and folders through XP for both .ost and outlook.ost

Where can I find it? How can I manually find the file and delete it?

Did you search for *.ost?
Are you sure you have cached mode or regular old offline access enabled? If
you're not sure, a quick way to test would be to unplug your computer from
the network and open Outlook/Exchange....
