I used Partition Magic to eliminate 3 partitions on my old XP desktop hard
drive that I am donating. PM's Drive Letter changing program would not load
after the partitions changed leaving programs listed in Add/Remove that
can't be removed in that fashion as they have the wrong drive letter
associated with them. I want to delete the 'orphaned' program names
showing in the Add/Remove list to reflect what is actually installed on the
remaining two partitions. How can I do this? Suggestions appreciated!
TIA, Roving

If you're comfortable working in the registry (meaning you have done this
before), you can do this manually, using regedit (but be very careful), or
you can find some utility programs that have the option to remove leftover
Add/Remove items.

Check this link from my website:

Please note that you will be editing the registry, so make sure you are
comfortable with the procedure before making any changes. Making the wrong
changes can cripple your machine.
