I leave it up to you. Would you rather have 1 weeks worth of restore points
or 1 months worth of restore points?
My personal experience is that 2 months worth saved me from reinstalling XP.

No.. I am saying that going to far back can leave more problems than get
fixed..

I use Disk Cleanup weekly and always take out all but the last restore
point..

I have only had to re-install three times, twice due to catastrophic disk
failure and once due to installing the 64bit variant of Vista..

I use disk cleanup weekly also but would never dream of deleting all but the
last restore point..

Let this bozo have the final word, Mike. If you don't, it will go on
for-freaking-ever.

Why on earth does a little chat between Mike and me bother you? Jealous or
something?

Maybe because this isn't an IRC site but rather a support site. Chat via
email or some other venue. Also, bottom post like Mike does to make it
easier for others to follow the conversation, etc.

Our chat had to do with support. Each person has the option to ignore,
killfile, and even delete a post so as not to appear on his system. No need
to be childish and rude.

Is there a rule on top/bottom posting for these forums. If so, where is it?
