Removing Old Icons from the Taskbar

I would like to remove all of the old Icons from the
Taskbar menu. Most programs have been removed. How can I
do this.

If it your "Task Bar" you can just right click on them and click delete. If
it your system tray (clock, etc) try emptying you start up folder and
clicking "Start - Run - type "msconfig" go to the start up tab and uncheck
the items you dont want running.

I think you can right click on each and delete them
individually, or try the clean disk utility under
start>accessories, or right click your menu bar, click
properties, click the start menu tab, click customise and
then hit the clear button
