removing ie toolbars

Hello, My kids installed some junk on my machine. Now I
have toolbars I can;t get rid of. How can I remove them
from the computer? Do I have to reinstall windows or what?
Pleae email a reply because I'll probably never find this
forum again. It was hard enough the first time. Thanks
