Hi Everyone,
I uninstalled a program in control panel as I always do
and I have never had a problem up until now, the icon is still in my task bar
and I can't seem to remove it. Can some one please give me instructions on
how to remove it, GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Probably a dumb answer but I
guess you tried...right click/delete?

Name the program and someone may look it up, or have experience with it.

BTW, it's probably in the "tray" area, otherwise known as the
"notification" area, not on the Task Bar, which shows currently-running
tasks.

What program? Are you referring to the Notification Area to the immediate
left of your clock?
