I have a 2 meg document which contains about 1000
hyperlinks. Is there an easy way to remove these
hyperlinks in one fell swoop?

Thanks in advance

Maz

No resolve, but I imagine you will have to create a macro to find the link
and then replace it with just the text. You can turn on field codes and do a
search on HYPERLINK.

Actually, to convert the hyperlink to plain text, the command
control-Shift-F9 will do it (Word calls it "unlinking" a field). You can
select all and control-shift-F9, except that this will unlink all fields in
the doc, not just hyperlinks, so you might want to apply it more
selectively.

You can also run a Find and Replace to delete the link and text together but
I forget the exact codes you need to use.
