I read the thread explaining how to disable hidden network shares in the
registry upon a reboot. But how do I just disable the D$ and E$ hidden
shares and not the C$ share? I want this to be permanent so upon a reboot
only the C$ share works.
Thanks

I don't believe you can selectively disable administrative shares - it is
all or nothing. Use strong passwords for administrator accounts to protect
your computer to minimize associated risk. --- Steve
