Removing email notification

On my user account screen when your loging in it says how
many programs you have running and how many unread emails
you have. I cleared my email folder days ago and the
message is still there, no new emails. I aslo set up a
user account for someone else and i checked my mail in
that persons account, now the message for my email inbox
is there to, but the number of emails unread is
different. How can i remove this email notification from
the login screen?

Hi,

Download and install TweakUi for Windows XP from the link below. Once
installed open the program and goto Repair>>Select Unread Mail Account.
