Removing e-mail listing from Windows Login window

daphunkydude

I'm really annoyed that when I log off my computer, and the log in window
comes up, it tells anyone that looks on the screen that my hotmail account
has so and so many e-mail messages... Is there a way to remove this? I'm
using several computers... and 2 msn accounts.. and would like to keep them
private. No need for others using the same computer to see how many e-mails I
have...

Any help.. anyone? Thanks..

BTW .. I'm using XP and Msn Messenger 7.5

:) Da dude

Greetings,

To disable this feature, download the TweakUI powertoy:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp (see on the right).

After you have TweakUI installed, click Start, All Programs, Powertoys for Windows XP, and
choose TweakUI for Windows XP. In the TweakUI window, on the left, click the '+' next to
Logon, and choose Unread Mail. Uncheck 'Show unread mail on Welcome screen' and click OK.
