Removing Dynamic Web Templates (FP 2003)

When I detach a dynamic Web Template from a page the link bar that is part of the template still remains on the page. It is no longer protected when scrolling over it which seems to indicate that the detaching was successful, but the graphic is still there.

If I then attach a DWT to the page it will now show 2 link bars. I am updating the page each time I detach/attach.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here.

Thanks,

You're not doing anything wrong, and FrontPage is working
as expected.

While attaching a DWT adds content to your page,
detaching one doesn't remove anything. The content the
DWT previously supplied remains in place as oprdinary Web
content. If you don't want that content, you have to
delete it by hand.
