removing deleted programs from hard drive

I recently deleted a game from add remove programs, but it stll shows up on
its own on my tool bar on occassion. So I want to know how to eliminate it
perminately. I restarted and searched for it under programs and files but it
doesn't show up anywhere but on my toolbar randomly. When I click on it in
the tool bar it blackes out the screen for three seconds and then returns me
to the desk top

Try to run disk Cleanup and Defrag in safe mode then run this command:
sfc /scannow click [OK] and let it run.
If still no joy try this tool from MS and you can delete it:
"AutoRuns for Windows v8.61 By Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell"
