removing background files

how do i remove background files(wallpaper) from the
background(wallpaper) list in display settings? i have
somehow come up with some duplicate backgrounds
(wallpaper) and can't figure out how to remove them as
options in display settings.

Click START|SEARCH and type in "wallpaper" (no quotes) <enter>

Open the Wallpaper directory (folder) and see if the files that you want
to delete are there.
