Hi Umit,

Reinstall the program in the same path and then use Add/Remove Programs to
uninstall it.

Check if you have a listing for the program under All Programs. Some apps
have their own uninstall without using the Control Panel>Add or Remove
programs.
If none, you could reinstall the program and then uninstall it. Many apps
leave
remnants all over your harddrive, so do not try to just Delete it for you
could
create a real mess.

I just manually uninstalled three applications two
weeks ago and so far it appears to be quite successful.
I'll illustrate what I did to uninstall Ulead Photo
Explore:

I knew that most of the paths to the programs files
contained 'Ulead ' and it was installed on drive C so I
searched on that drive for *ulead*, displayed the
results in detail view, and then sorted by the
directory column. This makes it easier to concentrate
on the highest level directory that contains that
string. I then right-click on questionable
directories, chose 'open containing folder' and changed
the view to two panes so I can see where that directory
was in the big picture. If everything in that
directory was solely for the application, I deleted the
directory. So at the end of this process the only
thing that remained of the application with the
registry entries. Before I did anything to the
registry I backed it up.

I knew that the main executable was called pex.exe so
the idea was to search the registry for all keys, key
values, and data of string type that contained either
'pex' or 'ulead'. I used my registry cleaning program
Registry First Aid in search mode to find 240 entries.
The program searches HKEY_CURRENT_USER,
HKEY_USERS\.Default, HKEY_USERS\Software and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry entries.

Each of the 240 matches had to be checked but the
program highlights in red the matching string which
made it easy to differentiate matches like pex.exe from
tripex.exe. It went pretty fast because I really didn't
pay any attention to the rest of the key!

I think the whole process took between 1 to 2 hours for
each application and he did get rid of the right-click
entries and everything else as far as I can see.

I'd appreciate any input from people here all of whom
know more about the registry than I do. Maybe I just
got lucky!!

Comments/suggestions/corrections appreciated.
Larry

Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.
