I know of no way to do so directly, unless it's a simple matter of
copying notepad.exe from a clean installation. The System File Checker
should be able to replace the file, though, if it truly is damaged:
Start > Run > "SFC /Scannow"
However, I can't imagine why a virus would ever have been written for
such a purpose. Why do you think Notepad was attacked by a virus? Are
you confident that you've already eliminated the virus to preclude a
recurrence of the problem.
