Removing all multiboot info

Guest

My company has a system that a admin instead of upgrading
2000 server to 2003 server he created a multiboot. I have
went in and removed the entry from the boot.ini file in
both the 2000 and the 2003 files, and deleted the 2003
folder. When the system reboots there is still a choice as
to which OS you can boot to. I need to remove this choice
and do not remember how. Please help,
Bill

This seems curios since there is only one ever in use in the root of the
system partition.

The system was booted to 2003, I went in and removed the
entry for 2003 then rebooted into 2002 checked the
boot.ini file and there was a entry there as well, so I
removed it there also. Now there is no entry for 2003 there

Where are you looking?
Start|Run|edit C:\boot.ini

Should look something like;

[boot loader]
timeout=10
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced
Server" /fastdetect

(watch for line wrap)
