Removing a program

A couple of days ago after logging onto the internet I had a window pop up
that said my free 3 day trial had ended with moviepass.tv.
That in order for the reminder window to quit popping open I would have to
either pay the $99.99 fee or pay $29.95 for 30 days and the reminder window
would quit popping open.
I sent a message through to the customer service department of this website
because the date and time that they say this was downloaded was not possibly
due to there being no one home except for my dog and I don't figure that my
dog knows how to run the computer.
Anyway, I removed what I could through the Add/remove option in my control
panel. But I still have this program called Notifier_060316 pop open
throughout the day. The only way to exit out of it is to Ctl/Alt/Dlt.
I have done a search for this file name with the find option but nothing
comes up.
Does anybody have any idea where I would even start looking for this darn
program so that I can completely remove it and not have the stupid window pop
open?
As a side note my pop-up blocker is set to max and this sales right past it.
It comes up as a running program when I Ctl/Alt/Dlt

It shouldn't be too difficult to dig this out manually using HijackThis.
