Anyone know why an application that has been removed
via "add and remove programs" may still show up in the
msconfig startup list? I have rebooted before looking
into msconfig and the application is still there. If so,
how do I remove it from list (besides unchecking the box
to the left)?

TIA

I found out in the past that if you go into msconfig and un check an item
then uninstall it the ms config item will not be removed upon uninstall of
the program. There for you should always go to msconfig and recheck any item
you are going to uninstall before uninstalling it.

Someone my know how to remove the item for you through the registry you may
even try tweakxp.com but if you can not find another way you could always
reinstall the program you will then have 2 items in the regestry for the
program, make sure both are checked on and uninstall again. That should do
it.
