Remove Write Protection

I have a 120 MB USB thumb-file that I use to capture and transfer files
between machines - all are Win XP. Suddenly, the file was "write protected"
and I was unable to add, delete or format the disk. Any ideas about how I
remove "write protection" will be most appreciated.

Check the little switch on the side of the thumb drive - it could be moved
to READ ONLY

Ron - many thanks. Switch is very small and cleverly hidden. Found
it and reset.

Yes - my son switched mine without me knowing it and it had me pulling my
hair out. Glad you are back in business.
