remove windows messenger

I was having this wait every 5 minutes and got fed up with it. I removed every instance of Messenger from my computer including removing and deleting the folder out of Program Files. Is this a problem?

Greetings Suzanne,

You may experience some problems with Remote Assistance and any other application that attempts to load Messenger (although in most cases, the application will just take longer to load or to react initially, then you can simply turn off the Messenger functionality). Windows itself will be fine.
