Remove Win98 Dual Boot - all Win98 files

Hv installed WinXP Pro, now want to remove dual boot
Win98. Is that possible ? How do I recover watsed disk
space, egt rid of Win98 system files ?

From the XP Installation, click Start, Run and enter C:\BOOT.INI Remove the reference to the 98 installation, and save the file. If you're unsure of what to remove, post the contents of BOOT.INI here.

Then you can remove anything you wish from the Win98 partition, with the exception of the following:

NTLDR
NTDETECT.COM
PAGEFILE.SYS
HIBERFIL.SYS
BOOT.INI
Any application folders that were installed under XP, but the installer was pointed to the Win98 partition.

Not all of these files may be present on your system.
