Charlie,
You can keep your account name from appearing in the list of accounts by
doing this Registry edit:
Click Start | Run and type regedit to start the Registry Editor.
In the left pane, navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY LOCAL
MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts
\UserList
Right click an empty space in the right pane and select New | DWORD value.
Name the new value exactly the same as your user account.
Double click the new value and set the data value to 0.
Close the Registry Editor and reboot the computer to apply the change.
If you change your mind later and want to "unhide" the account, repeat these
steps and set the data value to 1.
Hide User or Add User to the Welcome Screen (Line 22)

I've setup an account with Administrator access to allow my younger sister
to play games like Age Of Mythology using the 'right-click, run as....'
method. But can I remove this account from showing on the Welcome Login
screen when Windows starts?
I'm running Win XP Pro with Service Pack 1 installed.
