Remove update folders?

Hi,
Three folders were created on my drive from
what i believe were
service packs and updates like:0d8e1ef108 etc.

They total over 45mb.
Now that they are installed is it safe to remove
them and claim some space?

Updates from Windows Updates create backup files with names similar to

$NtUninstallKB822603$
$NtUninstallQ327696$

Not the folder name you referenced. Where is this folder located, and what
are the contents of it?
