How can I remove *Office toolbar* from my friend's computer for him?

TIa

You could uninstall it by re-running the Word/Office setup from Windows
control panel > add & remove programs. However I seem to recall that it is
started via a link in the Windows > start > Programs > startup folder.
Remove that link and it will not be present after a reboot. You may be able
to change this from the toolbar's properties.

Right click on the bar that goes across the top of the toolbar select exit
and select no when prompted if you want it to start on bootup.
