Remove the password?

How do I remove the password of a Excel file? I remember the password but I
don't like the file with password protection. I don't have control over the
window. I have lost the ability to set up window size. I don't have
close/maximize/minimize boxes anymore. Control-W does not close the
document anymore. I tried to delete it by deleting the entry in the box
from Options/security an save the file or save to a different name. The
password sticks with the file. I can copy cells and paste to a different
document but I need reset all the formatting for the new document.

Is there a way just allows me to reset the password to null?

thanks,

Go to File>Save As. Go into the Tools>General options section. Here you
can delete the passwords.

Thanks for the pointer. Just tried it and the password is still there. I'm
using Excel 2002. Is it done this way for security?

Thanks,

This protection is under
tools|Protection|Unprotect workbook.
Password is still attached to it. It does gives me back the scrolling and
window control. Great! Thanks for the help.
