remove text in comments column of my computer?

i know i can disable the comments column by right clicking. but i have
a cd drive that has text in the comments column that i want to remove.
the text relates to software i installed on a cd.

Edit the text.

1. Right-click a file.
2. Click Properties.
3. On the Summary tab, type your comment in the Comments area.

On the Summary tab, click Simple, and then type your comment in the
Comments area.
