Remove Shell object icon from desktop

A left over desktop icon after uninstalling PagisPro scanning and ocr
software...Pagis Inbox...remains on the desktop in a Win98 setting.
The Pagis software was uninstalled and this desktop Inbox remains.
It will not delete.
What areas in the registry to look for the record of this icon that is not a
shortcut but similar to the style of My Computer or My Documents
I'm asking for a friend with a Windows98se setup.

Would reference to this Pagis Inbox be found in the HKey Local
Machine\software\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
?

Yes. OR possibly:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
