remove program

I have down loaded a couple of programs, and are
currently instaled.I have tried to remove these using
add/remove programs.I get a message saying unistall will
finish after shut down.But when I turn back on they are
still their.
also my task manger has been disabled how do I get it
back
 
Check here for Task Manager. http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
Select T and scroll down to Task Manager. If the programs you uninstalled
still show up in Add/Remove Programs the entry may still be there but the
programs were in fact uninstalled. Go to program files folder and look to
see if they are still there.
