remove program

I have adelphia broadband, recently I down loaded a
security program called "Freedom" from adelphia. I can
neithier run the program or remove it.The program gives an
error message that a resource directory was not found. I
have also tried to re-load the program, but a message
appears that the freedom program is already on my system.
How can I delte this program or fix my problem ?
