Remove Navigation Pane

I prefer to not include the navigation pane in my folders.

In folder options, I chose "Use Windows classic folders", but the navigation
pane continues to show up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Open a folder. Go to Organize, then Layout. Uncheck navigation pain...
literally... because it's so well hidden.
