Remove macro button

I have a macro button or something that does nothing when clicked on.
How can i delete this button. Right clicking has no result. In XL
2002.

Perhaps it is a button from the Control Toolbox and you are still in "design
mode"?

Open Control Toolbox and click on the "design mode" toggle button.
