Remove Hidden Data Tool and Accept All Changes in Document

There is a great debate going on in my office regarding the Tracking and
Reviewing features of Word. The higher ups are telling me that the "accept
all changes" does not remove all tracked information from the document.
However, I can find no information to support this theory. I have tested
the new Remove Hidden Data Tool for Word and it appears that one of the
macro steps is to accept all changes in the document. For purposes of
quality control, I do need to verify that the reviewing features are
removing the data. Anyone have any idea?

Natalie,

Every time I have seen this assertion, it has amounted to confusion on the
asserter's part concerning the difference between accepting all changes in a
document and just changing the display options for track changes so they are
not shown. I can tell you with supreme confidence that when you accept all
changes in a document, save, and close that document, those changes are gone
and irretrievable.

Thanks Chad. That's what I thought -- but I'm having trouble getting the
higher ups to believe me! (as usual)!!!
